LPC design and manufacture electric process ovens having a volume of up to 36 cubic feet (1.0188cubic metres),certain styles capable of operating in excess of 650C. All ovens are lagged and can be supplied with integral control equipment.
The units are designed to suit the customer's specific needs and can be fitted with tubular swaged or ceramic insulated elements, which are pre-wired to secondary terminals inside a suitable terminal enclosure.
The material used for oven construction is determined by the working temperature and application and can be mild steel or various grades of stainless steel.
Normal internal lagging is from 2" to 4" (50 to 100mm) thick depending upon oven size and rating, but this can be varied to suit customer requirements. Ovens can be manufactured square, rectangular or circular and are designed to be operated at black heat (convection or fan-assisted).
