Product Description
The LPC Elements Lo-Cost range for nozzle applications is designed to economically heat nozzle areas.
Lo-Cost heaters are produced in a standard concept, low profile design from nickel or stainless steel with edge exit leads.
Product Notes
Construction
Lo-Cost heaters are manufactured at a standard 35 watts per square inch at 240v, but other loadings can be supplied on request. The elements are machine wound with digital ohmage monitoring to produce accurate, evenly wound formers with 345 degrees of circumferential heat. Each element is then tool formed to ensure a smooth contact face with excellent heat transfer properties. Low profile 7mm (1/4") roller bolts fitted in the continuously formed band ensures even clamping for good surface contact.
The standard lead length is 24 inches (61cm) can be supplied braided or unbraided to your specifications. Longer leads can also be supplied at an additional cost.
Size Range
LPC hold some stocks of heaters, sizes ranging from 1 > 4 inches (25 > 101mm) diameter and 1 > 4 inches wide. Other sizes available to order.
